My Bio
I've been kicking around DA on and off for around 15 years now, trying my hand at a variety of mediums; digital art and photography most prominently (can be found under the ID: metalicmermaid). However, always in the background has been a love of the art of crochet.
Now I know what you're picturing, a lovely little granny in her rocker with a cup of tea, surrounded by balls of wool and cats, whipping up rugs for the grand kids. Well, You wouldn't be far wrong.. Except I'm a little young for grand kids.
I've managed to combine my love of crochet with my geekier side, resulting in some pretty cool pixellated blankets (if I do say so myself) as well as some other little bits and pieces.
Also, no need to thank me for llamas, I send a llama as thanks for every favourite on my work =)

Whoop! I think this is the first time I've written a journal entry here! It's for a good cause though, so bear (bare? I always question this but I'm sure I was right the first time. Surely saying "bare with me" is just an invitation to get naked? ... I digress ...) with me! Yes. So clearly I have the attention span of a goldfish but I PROMISE there's a point to this journal entry. I will get to it eventually.
