8-Bit Batman Afghan

This Batman rug was made up of approximately 360 solid granny squares as a birthday gift for a friend. I used a slightly different method for joining the squares on this project (close up photo to follow - I'd love your feedback!).

I had a pretty tight deadline on getting this one finished, managed to have it all done in just under 3 weeks and learned a very valuable lesson. Leaving all the ends to sew in at the end of the project does not make it any faster, it simply makes you want to tear your hair out.
